Generally, patients must switch to wearing glasses full-time for at least 3 to 7 days before their final measurements and surgery if they wear soft contact lenses. If you wear rigid gas permeable (RGP) or hard lenses, you may need to leave them out for up to 3 to 4 weeks, as they cause more significant corneal molding.
