Dr. Gregory Parkhurst, M.D.

Gregory D. Parkhurst, MD, FWCRS is the Founder and Physician-CEO of Parkhurst NuVision, a multi-location eye surgery group with surgery centers in the San Antonio, TX region. Dr. Parkhurst is a founding member and past President of the Refractive Surgery Alliance Professional Society and is a Trustee of the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences. Having performed tens of thousands of successful vision correction procedures, Dr. Parkhurst has also trained hundreds of eye doctors and surgeons, and is a frequent speaker for conventions around the world. He was named in the Top Ten of the global 40 under 40 most influential people in ophthalmology by The Ophthalmologist and was the Chief of Ophthalmology and Refractive Eye Surgery at one of the world’s largest military bases before opening Parkhurst NuVision in 2013. Dr. Parkhurst is also an active researcher and has served as a principal investigator for over 50 FDA clinical trials for ophthalmic medical devices and pharmaceuticals in the innovation pipeline. Outside of work, Dr. Parkhurst loves to be on the water pulling the kids around on tubes and wakeboards.
